Mischa Barton has admitted that she makes a deliberate effort not to be in the limelight circle because she doesn’t not want to be known as a “PARTY GIRL”. She also goes on saying that “I am taking Hollywood with a pinch of salt and like the way the work goes on here. I get to meet and work with a lot of interesting people and have opportunities to do quality work with them”. She also added to this quote “I also try to get away from being too embedded in the ‘Hollywood’ lifestyle, I love to travel and I love to spend time with my Family and My life outside of work which i love . Although Hollywood mainly offers me access to the Movie Industry, I also love Spending time on the beach, riding boogie boarding and the weather”.

The 22 - year also said that she would not like dating people who are related to this Industry and would romance with men who are outside this movie industry. She is current dating Rooney guitarist Taylor Locke.
