Kids in US have voted Top Footballer David Beckham their top sport hero just a year after he moved to US.Hundreds of thousands of kids have voted him top athlete in the Teen Choice Award. Also he over took Basketball star Kobe Byrant and Tiger Woods. He has also won numerous other awards like US style icon and Major League Soccer Player of the year.

Even the attendance at his team Galaxy games has increased and Beckham playing in the US has also led to an increase in the level of interest in soccer there.

Major League shirt sales have increased by 780 per cent and even other club ticket sales have gone up. The league Internet traffic is up by 80 per cent. All the games are being telecast live and TV audiences are up by a quarter.
