But organisers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel’s, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay,”

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue plans to become gay like the late screen legend Tallulah Bankhead saying she is unable to find the right kind of guy for herself.

Magazines Minogue, 40, revealed she had a crush on the late Bankhead, who was bisexual.

She said: “I’d go gay for her. She was a fascinating and exotic woman. There was so much to admire about her. She lived life to the full, maybe a little too fully. I want to release the inner Tallulah in me. God knows I can’t get a man - so maybe I should cross over.”

Comic actor Steve Carell who was last seen in the comic movie ‘Get Smart’ had a near death experience while shooting a fight scene with WWF star The Great Khali in the movie Get Smart.

Reports says that Carell got a scare and thought he might lose his head when a fight scene with the Indian professional wrestler, whose real name is Dalip Singh, went wrong.

Carell said: “My life flashed before my eyes because I wasn’t ready to duck. And if I didn’t duck I would have had my head removed from my body. I would be a torso running around!”

Talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres which is published on Star is set to wed her girlfriend, actress Portia De Rossi, in the highest profile gay/Lesbian wedding since California started authorizing same sex marriages in May.

The couple will try to dampen an expected media frenzy by holding the ceremony at a secret location and inviting just a few close friends.

The California Supreme Court in May overturned a ban on same-sex marriages, opening the door for DeGeneres, 50, and De Rossi, 35, to get hitched. They have been dating since 2004.

A few days after the ruling, DeGeneres announced on her Emmy-winning show that she and De Rossi were planning to wed.

“It’s something that we’ve wanted to do, and we want it to be legal, and we are very, very excited,” DeGeneres said at the time.

“I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation, and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don’t all have the same rights,” she said.

A source said, “It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show. There’s also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in ‘the elephant in the room.’”

She was photographed over the weekend nursing a heavily bandaged foot - prompting fitness fears for the first date of the tour. There are rumors of that she may not perform on the first day of the concert of the live World Tour.

The mammoth tour will see the singer-actor cover Europe and North America and will wrap up in Mexico City Nov 30. Madonna has also invited singer Britney Spears to appear on some of her world tour dates. Yes she wont be in the little black bikini as the last time.
